SCARC US Islands 2024 Annual QSO Party

W7PIG took 1st place in the Fixed Stations Class and scored the most points in the contest. Thanks and "Hats Off" to the Rovers (N7KRN, KA7GPP, AC7SG, KK7NQW and AL2I) who dealt with poor weather conditions to get to the islands and made it on the air to make valuable contacts with the club station. Also special thanks to the club members who made the effort to find and work our stations! The W7PIG club station was operated by NJ7K - Jason and N7LRG - Terry from Terrys QTH. They had 70 QSO’s with the Rovers using SSB, CW and Digital modes. While the Rovers were moving around to new locations, the W7PIG station also made contacts with Hams in 14 states and one DX station. The total QSO count was 86 yielding a score of 33,368 points! Also of note were N7KRN taking 2nd place in the QSO Party's Rover Class and KK7NQW taking 7th in the Expedition Class. Great job by all! - N7LRG
